Clicking on the box below will take you to an email where you can let us know of the classes you would like to take if enough people sign up (we will let you know). Prices shown for each class do not include class kits. In the case of dolls who have molded or proprietary parts, you have the option of purchasing just the molded parts and providing all notions and fabrics on your own. HITTY - Make Gail's version of this beloved 6-1/2" wooden doll. Doll is of molded papier mache.
Class $35

THE FASHION DOLL (at left) - A 12" doll done in the spirit of dolls created with extensive wardrobes and accessories primarily in France but often copied by industrious home dollmakers. It is a period I love for the simpler styles (picture Little Women) and for the potential of adding to it as a complete series. The doll will be molded at the head with an extended shoulderplate (to facilitate consistent sizing for the sewing of costumes - easier to fit a fixed form than to have stuffing/sizing issues), with molded lower arms and legs. The class will cover making the doll herself, her wig with snood, 3-piece detailed undies, shoes, stockings, a 2-piece outfit with bonnet and hatbox and a day dress. Class $75

A TUCK COMB DOLL (at right) - This class will make a 10" doll in the German Tuck Comb style, a style based on peg woodens. The doll for the class will be made of papier mache and due to the simple styling, will be a good doll for all levels of expertise. Class $50
